We recognise parents as the first and most important educators of their children. All of the staff see themselves as partners with you in providing care and education for your child. We use on-line learning journals for every child so parents can log in and follow their children's progress.
There are many ways in which parents can take part in making the setting a welcoming and stimulating place for children:
- Being a Parent Helper, this enables parents to see what the day-to-day life of the pre-school is like.
- Share your own interests and skills with the children e.g cooking, art, music or talking about your job.
- Being part of our fundraising team to help organise fundraising events for our pre-school.
- Becoming a trustee and helping to oversee the running of the preschool.
For more information about any of the above, please see Susan the Manager or speak to your child's Keyworker.
We have an ‘open-door policy’ and welcome parents to drop in to see us at work or speak with staff.
